GG to all the guys who had a crack last nite with a couple of matches going til 2AM

1 epic battle to mention;

As Axis;
Rass - Wehrmacht
Fasty - Wehrmacht
Vic (of =DOW= and old man of sammyd) - Wehrmacht
and Shitty AI - panzer elite

vs.

As Allies
Schubie - British
Yons - US
Max - US
and Sammy - US

Twas a battle which no one thought would possibly be a great one. The Allies pushed out hard and with their quick unleash of deadly armour, the Axis' were on the back foot within 10 minutes. Half way through, at around the 20 minute mark, a push on 2 Victory Points by Fastmat and Vicmorrow at South and Middle simultaneously brought the Axis back into contention.

With the Victory Points tied the Wehrmacht needed one last push to seal the deal. A break through of tanks to their closest Victory Point meant the Axis were bleeding these Allies who thought they had it in the bag from the opening minutes. Points a trickling down! Faster than ever before. With many Artillery strikes in hand, a bombardment was unleashed on US Units. Frantic yet confident, Axis keep pushing with tickets going below the double digits. Victory was in their grasps. Shouts of "GG" was called as 3 points were on the screen. The tension soon fades away falling to 1....

The Axis stop fighting.

Confused with scrambling vent chatter, the Wehrmacht soon establish the US and British stopped their demise on 1 lonely point....

With the Axis at 130+ points against this nail biting point of 1, the Victory points were even at 3 a piece. The Allies managed to push on 2 Victory Points simultaneously. Yet they did not stop their. As the Wehrmacht did to the US earlier with a break though to their main, the single unit of Infantry broke through to cap a nearby VP to send the Axis on the bleed.

The Axis sent everything they could! Tanks, Infantry, even engies with flame-throwers! The Allies weren't giving up so easy. They clasped onto these VP's with everything they had as the Axis were fading away before their eyes.

Soon after... the demise of the Wehrmacht was announced. "You have been Defeated"!

At a score of 1-0, this epic battle will be talked about often within the new established Division.

GG to all, and thanks to everyone who played on the night.

Facts : GO SWANNIES!!! 09 IS UR YEAR BOYS!!!!
A school teacher injured his back and had to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. It fit under his shirt and was not noticeable at all. On the first day of the term, still with the cast under his shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest students in school. Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window as wide as possible and then busied himself with desk work. When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took the desk stapler and stapled the tie to his chest.

Discipline was not a problem from that day forth!
