FAVOURITE WAR MOVIE OF ALL TIME

My personal fave is Apocalypse Now. The feeling of war and the power and terror it has is really expressed in the Coppola classic. Black Hawk Down as well as Platoon came close for my vote. Bravo Two Zero is another must see i reckon. the mateship between the unit is well dislayed as is the hooros of being a POW.

my choice was deciding between Enemy at the gates, Black hawk Down and Band of Brothers.

In the end I had to vote Black Hawk Down. That movie personally got down to the business of WAR. Band of brother would have came close 2nd, if it didn go on for so long, it could hav came first.

Letters from Iwo Jima had to be mine, never really seen a movie from a Japanese soldiers point of view..

enemy at the gates and black hawk down??? Do they really rate up there???good films but can they really outrate Apocolypse Now, Saving Private Ryan a Band of Brothers Bridge on the river Kwai or Gallipolea?? I love battle of the bulge too but i cant really say it's a first rate war flick.
