Re: Friendly vs. =DOW= (Desert Shield)
The DC Divs. first challenge came from =DOW=, as their 42 team is in between seasons atm. At SAS, we all knew it was going to be a tough match.
Set for a 12+ v 12+ match, =DOW= came up short with 10, yet keen for some action
Round 1: SAS - Coalition
SAS came off strong from the roll out. Taking South with a handful of tanks and air, along with a second group heading for West. Feeling confident SAS pushed for the East yet =DOW= defended hard as SAS learnt the hard way. Constantly loosing West and being pumbled by DOW tanks at South, SAS got their head around defending as a solid group.
SAS - 67
DOW - 0
Round 2: SAS - Opposition
Spawns were all over the place, such a hike to all vehicles we were worried DOW was going to get the jump on us. West was a solid grab as East had us on our toes. DOW were pushing hard yet had many ticks up their sleeves. Once again SAS pulled up a solid wall of defence and road it home.
SAS - 72
DOW - 0
Round 3: SAS - Coalition
Pumped and confident SAS targeted only South and West. Soon enough we had them well covered yet DOW's air still managed to sneak through. Tickets were falling fast as SAS were hoping for an early round, this wish was granted, as we got a hold of their East flag point.
SAS - 103
DOW - 0
Round 4: SAS - Opposition
Rolled out very delayed with another wide spread spawn. DOW got the jump early and established a tight defence at South. SAS managed to cap West without any trouble at all, yet East was the test of them all. SAS couldn't break through DOW's line of defence which held us up the whole round. A sneaky cap of East ended the strong bleed DOW had set on us as we were hoping to turn the tables. Eventually the scores were even and tight all the way to the very end.
SAS - 12
DOW - 0
Final Score: SAS 254 to DOW 0 - SAS victory by 254 tickets
GG to all
Really looking forward to your challenges in the near future.
