Seen these before?

Hi guys and gals
Thought you might find this interesting. My grandfather took this money off a Japanese officer he saved on the Kokoda Track in WW2. He was a medic with th A.I.F.
This was money to be used in Australia by the japs when they over ran us (note the pounds and shillings, no dollars back then).
The other note is japanese currency.
Thought you'd find it interesting. Have heaps of stuff from him. He past away on (get this date) 11-11-1983.
As it was rememberence day I will never forget him.
He was, and always will be, one of the greatest men I have ever known.
Never write us old guy's off, we know stuff lol!!!!!!
