Friendly vs. TOG (Al nas) RESULTS

On a Friday night the SAS boys had a 8 v 8 bout with the experienced TOG'ers on the back and forth map of Al Nas.

Round 1 - Opposition
SAS started off as Opposition and rushed straight for the 2 flags and succesfully capping. While defending the building complex flag TOG kept bringing up their spawn truck, after stealing it and dumping it in the water TOG managed to finally implant it and flood us out for the flag.
After several failed attempts to recap the flag SAS managed to back cap their flag and then striked the Building Complex while the TOG'ers were in a flutter. Once SAS capped the complex they dug in and let TOG bleed out.

Round 2 - Coalition
SAS took off in a heart beat to secure the Building Complex flag and then dug in to defend. On TOG's first attempt to re-take the heavily contested flag they suceeded. SAS then found themselves in between a rock and a hard place with a 2 - 1 Flag disadvantage. After several attempts at capturing the flag SAS had a 42 - 160 (I think!)
deficit and thought we were out for the count.
After a sneaky backcap from the SAS boys at the northen flag, the remaining forces pushed hard in unison towards the building complex. Managing to cap SAS wiped their brows and dug in to hold with a goal to not let the TOG'ers win by 93 points. A few minutes after and SAS had all three flags which put TOG on the heavy bleed. Wave after wave of assaults and SAS still managed to hold on to their hard fought flags. When the players looked up they were shocked to see that SAS had 5 tickets left to 30 of the TOG's. Thats when it turned into a game of hide and seek trying to let TOG bleed out, which had succeeded!

A battle which had every SAS player sweating (I can guarantee that) and kept us on our toes until the very last ticket!
